Simon and Paula, together again? Maybe.
Simon Cowell is recruiting his former American Idol judge, Paula Abdul, to join him on the judging panel of his upcoming Fox talent show X-Factor, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The news is not that surprising as the acerbic Brit hinted last week at the network's Television Critics Association panel that he and Abdul may be working together soon.

"I adore Paula," he said. "Whatever happens, I will be working with her in some capacity because I miss her."
Cowell, who will leave Idol after this season to focus on X-Factor's launch next year, also wants to recruit his current U.K. X-Factor judge, British singer Cheryl Cole, as a judge on the American version, the Reporter says.
