Roswell's Shiri Appleby Expecting First Child

Roswell grad Shiri Appleby is expecting her first child this spring, Us Weekly reports.
Both Appleby and fiancé, chef Jon Shook, are keeping the baby's gender a surprise. "He really wanted to do it and it sounded like fun," the actress told the magazine. "It's really made the whole pregnancy a heightened excitement because you just don't know what it's going to be!"

Appleby, 34, is five months along with the unborn child, whom they call "Baby Shook" and has had a "really easy pregnancy," she told Us Weekly.
Appleby and Shook, 31, got engaged in July during a trip to Italy. Best known for her role on the WB teen alien drama, Appleby also starred on Life Unexpected and recurs on Chicago Fire as the pregnant ex-girlfriend of Shay (Lauren German).
