Twitter phenomenon turned CBS television pilot Sh-- My Dad Says has cast its patriarch: William Shatner.

The comedy is based on the Twitter account of 29-year-old Justin Halpern, who co-wrote and co-executive produced the pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Halpern's Twitter account, which has 1.16 million followers, started in August and features hilarious and often profane comments Halpern attributes to his 73-year-old father.

Meanwhile, moms and dads in the viewing audience need not fret over the show's title: it's almost certain to change if the pilot becomes a series.
