Shannen Doherty to Star in New Reality Series for WEtv

Shannen Doherty is returning to television in her own reality series for WEtv, a network rep confirms.
The yet-untitled program will follow the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star as she prepares to wed photographer Kurt Iswarienko, according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news. The series will show the couple's relationship and their journey to meld their two worlds, as well as Doherty's career.

This will be Doherty's third trip down the aisle, following her first nuptials to Ashley Hamilton in 1993 and her second marriage to Rick Salomon, which was annulled in 2003 after nine months.

Following her star turns on the original Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed, Doherty hosted and executive-produced Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty in 2008 and reprised her role as Brenda Walsh for several episodes during the first season of The CW's 90210 remake that same year. Doherty, 40, also appeared on Dancing with the Stars in spring 2010, but was the first contestant eliminated.
The show is set to premiere in early 2012.
