According to E! Online, a 27-year-old New Jersey woman told Doherty that she would do something "drastic" if Doherty didn't call her. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum immediately called the police, who then went to the woman's house. A spokesperson from the Westampton Township Police Department said they spoke to the woman and found no signs that she tried to hurt herself. She also admitted that she had no intention to do so.
"Thank you to the Westampton police department for being diligent and so reassuring," Doherty later tweeted.
