A man suspected of stalking Ryan Seacrest was arrested Friday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Chidi Uzomah, 25, was arrested for stalking after attempting to enter a facility at the Los Angeles address of E! Entertainment Television offices, The LAPD reports. The police said security personnel recognized Uzomah as someone who had tried to contact Seacrest in the past.

According to court documents obtained by The Associated Press, Uzomah was carrying a knife when he tried to enter the building Friday. The documents report Seacrest filed a restraining order against Uzomah Friday.
According to the documents, Uzomah is on probation after pleading guilty last month to three misdemeanors, including carrying a switchblade knife, assault and battery. Uzomah was arrested in September after police said he attacked one of Seacrest's bodyguards and attempted to get into a car with Seacrest outside an event
Uzomah was being held on $150,000 bail. Seacrest's lawyer and rep did not return calls for comment.
