Scrubs' Judy Reyes Expecting First Child

Judy Reyes, who plays Carla on Scrubs, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, filmmaker George Valencia.
Reyes is four months' along, says her rep, and is due in November.
When Scrubs returns in December for a ninth season, Reyes' on-screen husband, Donald Faison, will front the rejiggered show, as Turk takes a teaching job at the med school that will serve as the series' new setting.
Although Reyes was at first not expected to participate in Season 9, sources say she has since reached a tentative agreement to appear in some episodes.
