Sci Fi Orders More Ghost Hunters

SCI Fl will expand its Ghost Hunters franchise as well as the Channel's partnership with Craig Piligian's Pilgrim Films and Television, the network announced Thursday.
The network said in a statement that the multi-part deal includes a sixth season of Ghost Hunters, a second season of Ghost Hunters International, and a six-episode order of the recently announced pilot Ghost Hunters: New Generation (working title).
Pilgrim will develop an entirely new series for the Channel, and aims for a 2010 premiere.
Ghost Hunters is a big hit for Sci Fi, with a season average of 2.8 million viewers following the ghostly investigations of TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society), led by Rhode Island plumbers Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson.
As previously announced, brand-new episodes of Ghost Hunters International will debut January 7, 2009. Season 5 of Ghost Hunters will premiere in March 2009.
