Zooey Deschanel will bring her adorkable shtick to Saturday Night Live if promos for her hosting gig Saturday (11:30/10:30c, NBC) are any indication.

We'd like to request a special "What Up With That?" sketch in which DeAndre Cole (Thompson) actually allows Deschanel to sing. The musical guest that night will be Karmin.
In other SNL news, former cast member Maya Rudolph will return to host on Feb. 18 with Brooklyn duo Sleigh Bells as musical guest. Rudolph most recently made a splash on the big screen with the comedy Bridesmaids (we smell a parody sketch!) and stars alongside Christina Applegate and Will Arnett in NBC's comedy Up All Night.
