Rizzoli & Isles' Sasha Alexander Welcomes a Son

It's a boy for Sasha Alexander.
The Rizzoli & Isles star and her husband, writer/director Edoardo Ponti, welcomed son Leonardo Fortunato Ponti on Dec. 20 in Geneva, Switzerland, her rep tells TVGuide.com.

Leonardo is the second child for the couple, who have a 4-year-old daughter, Lucia.

"We are so thrilled to welcome our little Leonardo," the couple said in a statement. "He's a wonderful gift and we are all in love — especially the grandmas!"
Ponti is the son of Oscar winner Sophia Loren and the late movie producer Carlo Ponti. He and Alexander have been married since 2007.
