Lifetime Recruits Maneater Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke is going from a doctor to a Maneater.
The Scrubs star has been tapped for leading lady duties on Lifetime's new miniseries, Maneater, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
Based on Gigi Levangie Grazer's book and adapted by Suzanne Martin, Maneater will star Chalke as Clarissa Alpert, a — duh — maneater. Having a thirtysomething midlife crisis, the single Alpert goes on the prowl for a well-to-do husband.
Timothy Busfield will direct the four-part series, and Martin and Grazer will executive produce.
Chalke previously worked with Lifetime on the tele-flick Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy.
