Sara Rue knows what it's like to be pregnant — not because she has a child of her own yet, but because she's been expecting so many times on screen.
"I'm ready for another fake birth," she says about her role as a surrogate on Rules of Engagement. "I've given birth on Two and a Half Men, I gave birth on Private Practice last year, Chicago Hope ... I've given birth a lot in TV-land and movie-land."
Besides her recurring role on the CBS sitcom, Rue is hosting CW's new reality series Shedding for the Wedding. Although there's a plethora of weight-loss and wedding shows on TV, Rue, who's planning her own wedding, says her show has a bit of a lighter feel than most and that there's a lot of love between the couples.
