Sylvester Stallone's Son Found Dead at Age 36

Sage Stallone, the 36-year-old son of Sylvester Stallone, was found dead on Friday, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Sage was found dead in his apartment, according to the New York Post. Police had gone to check on Sage after friends were unable to get in touch with him. "There is no suspicion of foul play or criminal activity," a rep for the Los Angeles Police Department told the newspaper. It is unclear whether the death was a suicide or accidental, but the Post reports that pills were found in his home. The LAPD told TVGuide.com that the case had been turned over to the coroner.

"Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone," Sylvester's rep said in a statement. "His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man, his loss will be felt forever."

Sage starred alongside his father in Rocky V as the son of the titular character. He later moved behind the scenes as a director and a producer.
