Law & Order: SVU's Danny Pino knows there's no replacing Christopher Meloni's character with his — and he's not about to try.

"There's no replacing [Stabler]," he says. "From the very beginning I knew ... that I needed to find my own way and I needed to find my own character."

Pino, along with Kelli Giddish, joined the NBC show in its 13th season and says his character is adjusting as the new guy on the force. "You have to find that dynamic," he says. "Benson had this relationship with Stabler and they were very tightknit and he expects that. He realizes who he's dealing with and [that] he has a lot more work to do so that she realizes he does have her back."
