SNL Alums Join Jon Heder in Comedy Central Sitcom

Comedy Central is hoping to up the funny factor on its upcoming untitled comedy series by casting former Saturday Night Livers Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz to join star Jon Heder.

The sitcom, produced by Will Ferrell's Gary Sanchez Productions, revolves around a young man (Heder) who will let nothing get in the way of his dreams — even if it mean having to move back in with his parents and crash on their couch. With the help of his friends, an ex-convict (Sanz) and a burned-out high-school teacher (Parnell), the gang cooks up well-intentioned schemes to save their hometown, but often come up short.
Shooting is scheduled to begin at the end of March and is slated to premiere this summer.
Heder starred in the cult film Napoleon Dynamite, while Parnell and Sanz are best known as SNL cast members. Parnell is also a reoccurring cast member on 30 Rock.
