Want to have a bit part in a Ryan Gosling movie? Apparently, all you have to do is live through a bank robbery.
In his new film The Place Beyond the Pines, Gosling plays a bank robber — and for one stick-up scene in the movie, those are real bank customers and staff members on the screen, not extras, MSN reports. Luckily, the participants knew that it was only a film shoot — and used the opportunity to stargaze at Gosling.

"I'm there with a gun and I look down and people are just smiling. They were just enjoying the show," Gosling tells MSN. "I think I spotted someone filming me on their camera phone as I robbed the place."
