Prince William and Kate's California Trip Mapped Out

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, plan to spend three days in California as part of their North American tour, starting Friday, July 8, People reports. Their stay is expected to go like this:

July 8 — They'll attend the Consular-General Reception on behalf of the United Kingdom Trade and Investment.

July 9 — During the day, William will play polo at the Santa Barbara Polo Club to benefit the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. At night, the royal couple will attend the British Academy of Film and Television Arts black-tie dinner and reception at the Belasco Theatre.

July 10 — They will visit the Inner-City Arts School and attend Service Nation: Mission Serve, a job fair for veterans before heading home.

According to a royal spokesman, the aim of William and Kate's outing is to focus on "supporting British interest in California through the prism of their own interests."
