Rosie O'Donnell is heading to Smash.
"On my way to film SMASH - love that show so much ... I am playing me - luckily I have done a lot of research ;)" she tweeted on Tuesday morning. "It's the TONY AWARDS episode," she added.

O'Donnell joins the growing list of guest stars on the NBC musical drama's second season, including Nikki Blonky, Jennifer Hudson and Sean Hayes.
O'Donnell, who hosted the Tony Awards in 2000, most recently hosted a short-lived talk show on OWN.
