Downwardly Mobile's premise sounds similar to that of Rosanne, including the blue-collar family going through tough economic times. The series comes from Barr and her longtime boyfriend Johnny Argent. Steven Greener, from Barr's lifetime series Rosanne's Nuts, will also executive-produce. Once the series finds a showrunner, it will be shopped to networks.
