Nirvana, KISS and Cat Stevens are among the acts who will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year, the organization announced Tuesday.
They will be joined by Hall and Oates, Peter Gabriel and Linda Ronstadt at theApril 10 ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

This was the first year Nirvana was eligible for induction, while this is the first time Kiss and Stevens have made the cut after being nominated in the past.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be awarded for musical excellence.The Rolling Stones' managers Andrew Long Oldham and Brian Epstein will receive the Ahmet Ertegun awards.
Tickets for the 29th Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will go on sale next month. The ceremony will air on HBO in May.
