Robin Thicke was arrested Friday on marijuana possession charges, TMZ reports.
The 34-year-old singer was detained after patrol officers spotted him reportedly smoking a joint while sitting in a car near Madison Square Park in New York City.

Thicke was issued a desk appearance ticket before being released.
The Grammy winner released his fifth studio album, "Love After War," in December. He is the son of Growing Pains star Alan Thicke.
