Robin Roberts won't be returning to Good Morning America full-time until May or June, TMZ reports.
Although ABC News executives were reportedly hoping she would be back as soon as February, an early return would be extremely risky for Roberts because her immune system is very weak.

In June, Roberts was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, a rare blood disorder, and then began her leave of absence from GMA in September. She underwent a bone marrow transplant in October and her doctors have been pleased with her progress. Doctors say she's right on schedule, but that schedule would keep her on leave from work for another five months at least.
Roberts appeared on the program earlier this month in a pre-taped segment filmed at her home. She also attended the wedding of GMA weatherman Sam Champion last week.
