Robin Roberts Leaves Hospital — Finishing Recovery From Home

Robin Roberts

Robin Roberts is taking another big step in her recovery.

The Good Morning America co-host tweeted Thursday that she has left the hospital and is now recovering from her bone-marrow transplant at home. "There's no place like home. After 30 days in the hospital I'm home," she wrote. "Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Thank you and bless you."

Robin Roberts update: My doctors are "very pleased with my progress"

Last week — two weeks after her transplant — Roberts wrote in a blog that her blood counts were "great" and that her doctors and nurses were "very pleased with my progress."

Roberts was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder, myelodysplastic syndrome, back in June and started a leave of absence from Good Morning America on Sept. 1.
