Robert Redford and Shia LeBeouf have signed on to star in the political thriller The Company You Keep, which Redford also will direct, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The script will be written by Lem Dobbs (The Limey) and based on Neil Gordon's novel. Redford will play a militant wanted by the FBI whose identity is exposed by a young reporter portrayed by LeBeouf.
