Rita Wilson to Guest-Star on Law & Order: SVU

Rita Wilson will guest-star in an upcoming episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, NBC announced Thursday.
Wilson, 54, will play Bree Mazelon, the protective mother of a teenager under investigation. She will appear in the May episode, "Delinquent."

"A few years ago, I saw Rita Wilson give a riveting performance playing the mother of child with ADD in the play Distracted, and I knew she'd be a wonderful guest star for SVU," executive producer Neal Baer said. "Rita will be playing a mother struggling to care for her seriously disturbed child and we know the episode will be truly memorable."
The actress-producer, who recently guest-starred on The Good Wife, has also appeared in It's Complicated, Old Dogs and That Thing You Do.
