Rita Wilson has been named the Editor-at-Large for Huff/Post 40, a new site launching in August covering the baby boomer generation.

"We are thrilled that Rita is joining us," Arianna Huffington, founder of Huffington Post, said in a statement. "Calling the site 'Huff/Post 40' was her idea. Her belief that it's never too late to follow your dreams makes her the perfect godmother for Huff/Post 40 as it takes shape."

In Wilson's new position, she'll oversee the vision and direction of the new site and hire the editorial staff.

"The idea that we boomers are somehow supposed to wind things down as we get older has completely escaped me," Wilson, 54, added. "It's never too late to mix things up, change your life, to get to what you really should be doing -- or want to be doing. I can't wait to get started."

What do you think of her new position?
