Oprah Winfrey has booked the first television interview with Rielle Hunter following her affair with former presidential candidate John Edwards, according to The Associated Press.
Harpo Productions did not specify when Hunter, 46, will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Edwards' former mistress wants "private" tape back
Hunter addressed the scandal for the first time last month in an interview with GQ magazine. She said Edwards was involved in their two-year-old daughter's life, but she did not say if they were in a romantic relationship.
Edwards first admitted to his affair with Hunter in August of 2008, but denied that he was the father of Hunter's daughter, Frances Quinn Hunter. The former North Carolina senator claimed paternity in January. Edwards and his wife, Elizabeth Edwards, have since separated.
