Boy Meets World's Rider Strong Gets Engaged

Series alum Rider Strong is engaged to girlfriend Alexandra Barreto, Us Weekly reports.

Strong, 33, proposed to Barreto on Wednesday. The two met on the short-lived 2006 series Pepper Dennis and also worked together on a presidential campaign video for Barack Obama. Barreto, who also starred in the short film Method directed by Strong and his brother, Shiloh, recently recurred on Justified.
News of Strong's engagement comes a week after his longtime co-star Danielle Fishel revealed she was engaged and had recently graduated college. The cast has also been in the news after word leaked that Disney Channel is working on a Boy Meets World spin-off pilot that will follow Cory and Topanga's 13-year-old daughter.

Fishel and Ben Savage have both signed on, but Strong is not attached to the project... yet. "At this point, I have no official involvement in Girl Meets World," Strong wrote on his website earlier this month. "It's the next generation. And I, for one, can't wait to see it evolve."
