On last week's Revolution, Miles imagined Monroe asking him to return to his post in the militia, and according to co-executive producer David Rambo, Miles' dream will become reality during Monday's midseason finale.
But does the militia founder want to return? Billy Burke, who plays Miles, told reporters that he felt his character would want nothing to do with it, but Rambo hints at a different tale. "We say that Miles is seeking redemption for all the bad stuff he did [in the militia], but at the same time, it's a little seductive," he teased.

But if Miles did return, it wouldn't be to fix the corrupt system and raise the militia to its once-imagined glory. "I think the part of Miles that wants to go back is the part that really liked everything he was doing, that would love to do it again," Rambo said.
Whether Miles accepts his old friend's offer, Rambo wouldn't say, but he did reveal the reunion will be "very emotional, but [result] in an epic swordfight."
And while Miles might be going over to the dark side, Rambo revealed that we'll be seeing a different side of Monroe (David Lyons
) as well. Rambo told TVGuide.com
that Monroe "will be even more [humanized] in our winter finale."
Does that mean we'll be seeing more of the militia general's sexy smile
on Monday? You'll have to tune in to find out.

But remember, after Monday's episode, "Nobody's Fault but Mine," Revolution
won't air until March 25. Though four months is quite the hiatus, Rambo doesn't think it will be a problem. "[Revolution
] has a very devoted fan base and we want to ensure that when we come back in March it's worth the wait — and I think it's worthy and then some."Revolution
's midseason finale airs Monday at 10/9c on NBC.
