Report: Maya Rudolph Is Pregnant; NBC Weighs Scrapping Up All Night

NBC is considering scrapping its struggling sitcom Up All Night, in the wake of star Christina Applegate's departure and news that Maya Rudolph is pregnant, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The network announced last year that the show would be switching from a single-camera format to a multi-camera comedy shot in front of a live studio audience, and later brought in Linda Wallem to replace showrunner Tucker Cawley. Creator Emily Spivey decided to leave the series before Applegate announced her departure last week.

Now, a planned one-episode reboot has been delayed and star Will Arnett is in talks to star in a new comedy being developed for CBS, THR reports. Rudolph reportedly told network executives that she and director Paul Thomas Anderson are expecting their fourth child together. Also, according to Deadline, NBC has offered Rudolph a role in a Sean Hayes comedy slated for next year — which would indicate the network has all but officially canceled Up All Night.
NBC had no comment.
