Modern Family star Sofia Vergara and her fiancé, businessman Nick Loeb, have started couples counseling ahead of their wedding, Star Magazine reports.

According to the report, the move came at Vergara's insistence after the pair argued publicly at a New Year's Eve party at a club in Miami. Vergara's dress was torn in the incident and Loeb was removed from the venue by security, according to reports. Vergara reportedly want to work on these issues before the couple walked down the aisle.
