Sumner Redstone: "CSI Will Beat the Hell Out of" Prime-Time Leno

CBS's executive chairman doesn't think Jay Leno's new prime-time NBC show stands much of a chance.
Speaking with Larry King during a session at the Milken Institute Global Conference Wednesday, Sumner Redstone was confident in his network's ability to trump Leno, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"CSI will beat the hell out of him," Redstone said, referring to CBS' top-rated show. (Interestingly enough, the flagship CSI airs at 9 pm/ET, an hour before Leno's new program would begin. CSI's Miami and New York spin-offs, however, do air at 10 pm.)
Redstone wasn't shy about touting his other properties as well. He predicts Paramount Pictures will have boffo box office this summer with Star Trek and G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra.
And for those competitors hoping the 86-year-old executive is on his way out, Redstone promises he isn't.
"The people who fear dying are people who are going to die," he said. "I'm not going to die. I'm going to live forever."
