Ratings: State of the Union Address Down from Last Year

President Barack Obama's State of the Union address wasn't a big draw Tuesday with coverage down across the board.

NBC led the way with 5.8 million viewers and a 1.6 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, down four-tenths from last year, while CBS (6.2 million, 1.1), which fell 27 percent, was tops in viewership. ABC (4.6 million, 1.2) and Fox (2.4 million, 0.9) were down two-tenths and eight-tenths, respectively.

ABC was the only network to air new programming, with The Taste sliding to a series low of 4.7 million viewers and a 1.5.
