Sleepy Hollow turned a lot of heads Monday.
The Fox drama premiered to 10 million viewers and a 3.4 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, surging 127 percent from The Mob Doctor's numbers in the timeslot last year and marking Fox's highest-rated fall drama debut since K-Ville in 2007. Sleepy Hollow, which was one of TVGuide.com users' most anticipated new dramas, also outperformed lead-in Bones, which returned to 10 million viewers and a 2.2, down a tenth from last year.

A revamped Dancing with the Stars kicked off its 17th season to 16.2 million viewers and a 3.2, up 28 percent from last fall's premiere, which debuted a week later. ABC finished second for the night behind Fox.
CBS placed third, led by Under the Dome (11.8 million, 2.8), which rose 30 percent for its season finale, while NBC finished fourth withMillion Second Quiz (3.7 million, 1.1), American Ninja Warrior (4.2 million, 1.6) and Siberia (2.2 million, 0.8)
