Rake failed to hook viewers Thursday.

The Greg Kinnear drama premiered to a modest 7.1 million viewers and a 1.7 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, losing nearly half of its American Idol (12.1 million, 3.3) lead-in. Rake is slightly down from Glee's post-Idol performance in the slot.
