NBC's Winter Olympics coverage took the gold medal in the ratings again Sunday night, but CBS' Undercover Boss was far from a loser.

The new hit reality series drew 13.6 million viewers, building on The Amazing Race's lead-in audience (9.1 million viewers) and handily beating ABC's Desperate Housewives (10.9 million viewers) for second place at 9/8c. Housewives also tied its series low in the adults-18-to-49 demographic.

NBC's coverage of the Winter Games averaged 22.4 million viewers throughout prime time, more than doubling the averages of each of the other networks, though those averages were up from last week.

While Fox drew the smallest numbers against the healthy competition, its animated comedies bounced back the most from last week. The Simpsons (6.1 million viewers) was up 15 percent in the 18-to-49 demo, while The Cleveland Show (5.6 million viewers) and American Dad (5.6 million viewers) improved 17 and 12 percent respectively. A Family Guy repeat drew 6.3 million viewers.

Elsewhere, ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (8 million viewers) was up 23 percent in the demo at 8/7c, while Brothers & Sisters was up just a bit with 7.9 million at 10/9c. Also at 10, Cold Case (8.8. million viewers) was up 10 percent in the demo.
