Ratings: NYC 22 Has OK Debut; Titanic Drags Down GCB

Harold House Moore and Leelee Sobieski

NYC 22 didn't collar big numbers Sunday, but it didn't sink as badly as ABC's Titanic miniseries.

CBS' latest cop drama drew 8.9 million viewers and a 1.5 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic — about 32 percent lower than CSI: Miami's average in the time slot. Lead-ins The Amazing Race (9.2 million, 2.5) and The Good Wife (10 million, 1.8) held steady.

Did you find CBS' new cop drama NYC 22 arresting?

Part 4 of Titanic, from Downton Abbey's Julian Fellowes, pulled in an anemic 4.17 million viewers and a 0.9, just a tad more than its Saturday debut (4.1 million, 0.8). The feeble lead-in caused GCB to drop more than 20 percent to a series low of 4.5 million viewers and a 1.5.

On NBC, Harry's Law (8.1 million, 0.9) slipped in the demo and Celebrity Apprentice (6.6 million, 2.1) was flat.
