Ratings: NBC Wins First November Sweeps in Nine Years

The peacock network is ready to strut.

NBC has come out on top of the ratings race this November, topping CBS, Fox and ABC during sweeps. This is the first time NBC has placed first in the ratings in nine years.

Thanks, in part, to Sunday Night Football, The Voice and new series Revolution and Go On, the network averaged a 2.8 rating in the advertiser-valued 18 to 49 demographic, a gain of 17 percent from last year, moving NBC from fourth last year to first in 2012.

As of Sunday, NBC led over CBS by 17 percent, with still two more days of ratings to be factored in. NBC has also averaged 7.9 million viewers, its highest viewership numbers for a November since 2007. NBC is also the only network to see growth year-over-year among the top four networks.
