How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother saw a 17 percent surge for its penultimate episode Monday.

The comedy, which featured Barney and Robin's long-awaited wedding Monday night, drew 9.1 million viewers and a 3.4 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up half a point from last week. The rest of CBS' lineup improved as well, each by a few tenths.

NBC won the night with The Voice (12.6 million, 3.6), which dropped half a point. The Blacklist (11 million, 2.9) was up two tenths.

TV's most heartbreaking deaths

After matching its lowest-rated premiere ever, Dancing with the Stars (14.2 million, 2.2) dropped four tenths. Castle (9.8 million, 1.7) dipped one tenth.

Fox's lineup and The CW's Star-Crossed (940,000, 0.3) held steady, while The Tomorrow People (800,000, 0.3) slipped a tenth.
