Ratings: Go On Opens Strong; The New Normal Steady

NBC's new comedies Go On  and The New Normal delivered solid numbers Tuesday in their timeslot debuts.

Go On
, which premiered during the Olympics to 16.1 million viewers and a 5.6 rating in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, pulled in a respectable 9.6 million viewers and a 3.4. The New Normal (7 million, 2.5) held steady from its special Monday premiere.

Leading off the night, The Voice pulled in 11.30 million viewers and a 3.9 rating. The numbers were down slightly from Monday's season premiere, but were up in both measures versus last season's Tuesday debut.

Season 4 of Parenthood bowed to 5.6 million viewers and a 1.9, down a tad from last season's opener.

The only other new offering of the night was Fox's So You Think You Can Dance final four performance show, which averaged 4.3 million viewers and a 1.5.
