Emily Owens, M.D. got off to an OK start Tuesday, while NBC dominated the night with The Voice and its coverage of the second presidential debate.
Airing against the debate, Emily Owens bowed to 1.7 million viewers and a 0.5 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, building on Hart of Dixie's lead-in audience (1.3 million, 0.6), but it was down more than 50 percent compared to Ringer's debut, which premiered mid-September last year in the same slot. However, Dixie and Owens combined for The CW's most-watched Tuesday since Nov. 29.
