Ratings: Dancing with the Stars Drops Again; Body of Proof Gets a Boost
Dancing with the Stars
Dancing with the Stars is still diving in the ratings.
A week after posting its lowest-rated premiere ever, Season 14's first elimination episode Tuesday pulled in 15.3 million viewers and a 3.0 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic — down 30 percent from last spring's first results show. The episode, however, was up slightly from the fall's premiere elimination show.
Dancing: Who went home?
With Dancing as a lead-in once again, Body of Proof (9.9 million, 2.1) rose 33 and 50 percent, respectively, from its last new episode. ABC opened the night with a Dancing recap show, which drew 10.4 million and a 1.9.
CBS took the night with its formidable NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and Unforgettable trio. NCIS (18.2 million, 3.4) was steady, NCIS: LA (14.6 million, 2.9) rose a bit, while Unforgettable (10.4 million, 2.0) slipped.
Also down were Raising Hope (3.7 million, 1.5) and New Girl (4.87 million, 2.5), both of which hit season lows. Breaking In (2.8 million, 1.4) was up almost 10 percent.
