The Bachelorette iced Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals.
ABC's dating show averaged 7.82 million viewers from 8 to 10 ET against 5.23 million for the match on NBC between the Vancouver Canucks and Boston Bruins. Bachelorette also scored a 2.4 rating among 18-to-49-year-olds vs. hockey's 1.8 — down a chilling 38 percent against last year's Game 6 (which, admittedly, was between teams from two larger TV markets, Philadelphia and Chicago).
The two networks were the only broadcast outlets with all-original programming Monday night.

ABC's Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition also outdrew hockey in the final prime-time hour, 5.84 million viewers vs. 5.33 million. A rerun of CBS' Hawaii Five-0 actually won the time slot with 7.30 million.
Still, both ABC shows were down compared with last week: Bachelorette fell 8 percent, while Extreme Makeover dipped 9 percent.
MasterChef auditions: 5 things that left a bad taste in our mouth
At 9/8c Fox's MasterChef fed 4.88 million viewers, nabbing a 2 rating, 11 percent better than last week.
CBS otherwise stuck with reruns of its comedies starting at 8/7c — back-to-back episodes of How I Met Your Mother (4.56 million and 4.39 million), Two and a Half Men (6.03 million ) and Mike & Molly (6.27 million)
The seventh and deciding game of the National Hockey League championship airs Wednesday at 8/7c on NBC — and it's certain not to approach the 21.07 million who tuned in for this week's National Basketball Association closer.

And for those who might be sick of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, here's some good news about Sunday night's Season 6 premiere: It averaged just 2.5 million viewers, barely more than half of the 4.7 million who watched Season 5's debut in August 2010.
