The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise can be a steady ratings performer, but it's nothing like Dancing With the Stars — whose last performance show at 8/7c Monday night grabbed 22.15 million people and a 4.6 rating in the demo. It has grown 4 percent in total viewership and 7 percent in the demo over Season 11 — and Season 12 is wrapping up the franchise's most-watched ever.

Against Dancing, the car-crashing House season finale on Fox pulled in 8.90 million viewers (and a 3.3 demo rating, down 23 percent from last year's season-ender) versus a rerun of CBS' How I Met Your Mother (4.64 million); NBC's Minute to Win It (4.30 million) and repeat of the CW's 90210 (674,000). At 8:30, another Mother rerun scored 4.14 million.

At 9/8c, a rerun of CBS' Two and a Half Men, drew 8.04 million against Fox's The Chicago Code swan song (7.03 million), NBC's The Event series finale (4.57 million) and the CW's Gossip Girl rerun (516,000). At 9:30, a Mike & Molly repeat drew 8.57 million viewers.
In prime time's final hour, the CBS special Clash of the Commercials: USA vs. the World attracted 6.76 million viewers to finish second in the time slot, and the canceled Law & Order: Los Angeles pulled in 6.05 million to wind up third.
