Ratings: American Idol On Top; ABC Lineup Hits Lows
Just like the good ol' days, American Idol led Fox to a Tuesday night win — but not with its old audience.
With its first live show of the season, Idol pulled in 15.8 million viewers and a 5.0 in the adults 18-to-49 demo to help Fox notch the highest Tuesday demo rating of any network all season. The two-hour episode, however, lost in terms of viewership to CBS' NCIS-NCIS: Los Angeles combo, which averaged about a million more viewers.

On NBC, Parenthood closed out its third season with 5.1 million and a 1.9 (up 4 and 12 percent) to tie Unforgettable in the demo.
