Randy Jackson has responded to the departures of his fellow American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.
"Steven and Jennifer are truly two of the most talented and consummate professionals I've worked with," Jackson told Gossip Cop in a statement.

"I was friends with them before we hopped on this crazy journey together and I have no doubt our friendships will continue long after."

After two years at the judging table, Lopez and Tyler announced their exits from the reality series earlier this week.
There is no news whether Jackson, who has been with Idol since the first season, will follow suit or remain with the series.
