Rachael Leigh Cook has snagged the female lead on Fox's comedy pilot Nirvana, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Laurie Metcalf to headline Strange Brew pilot
The pilot centers on two Indian-American brothers who are constantly at odds with their controlling parents as they try to understand American culture. One son, who lives with a Caucasian girlfriend (Cook), has a particularly hard time with his parents.
Cook is best known for her film roles in She's All That and Josie and the Pussycats. The 30-year-old actress recently appeared on Psych in a recurring role.
