Rachael Leigh Cook Joins TNT's Perception

Rachael Leigh Cook has been cast opposite Eric McCormack in the TNT pilot Perception, according to Deadline.com.
Cook, 31, who starred in She's All That and recently appeared on Psych, will play FBI Agent Kate Rossi. She recruits her former professor (McCormack) to help solve cases a la to Bones or Castle or The Mentalist or...you get the point.

Kenneth Biller and Mike Sussman, who both executive-produced Legend of the Seeker, co-wrote the pilot.
TNT reps did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.
