CW Orders Privileged Few Episodes, Plans Monday "Test Drive"

Could it be that quality will reign over quantity (of millions of viewers)?
The CW has inched a bit closer to anything resembling a full-season pick-up of Rina Mimoun's Privileged, by upping the series' additional episode count to five, for a freshman run total of 18 episodes. The series was just nominated in the People's Choice Awards' Favorite New TV Drama category.
As a further vote of confidence, the CW will premiere new episodes of Privileged on successive Mondays — Dec. 1 and 8, after Gossip Girl, where One Tree Hill repeats were to air.
Those Privileged episodes will be rebroadcast the following night at 9 pm/ET, in the show's usual time slot.
