The British are coming... to Canada. The preliminary itinerary for the Canadian leg of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's upcoming North American tour was announced Monday, according to People.com, it is as follows:

June 30-July 2: The National Capital Region (Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau, Quebec)
July 2: Montreal
July 3: Quebec City
July 3-4: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
July 4: Summerside, Prince Edward Island
July 4-6: Yellowknife, Northwest Territories
July 6-8: Calgary, Alberta

The aim is to experience "the diversity, vibrancy of Canada, its geography and people," according to People.com's unnamed source.

On July 8, the royal couple then flies to Los Angeles. However, their association with celebs is expected to be underplayed. Rumors of the duchess needing up to 40 different wardrobe changes have not been confirmed or denied, but regarding the scale of this outing one aide did admit, "They want to keep their entourage to a minimum."
